Rental Information

When you proceed with the rental of a unit, you will be required to complete our ‘Standard Rental Agreement’.

 

Minimum Rental Term
There is a minimum rental term of one month and you will be required to pay your first month rental in advance. You will also be required to pay for a bond. 

 

Security
The complex is entered via a keyed gate which we will provide to you. You are required to provide your own padlock for the self storage unit. As the Client, you will be the only person with a key for the storage unit you occupy. At the end of your rental agreement, the gate key must be returned.

 

Storage Access
Access hours to the complex are from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week, excluding the Christmas, New Years and Easter public holidays. 

 

 

Standard Storage Agreement

 

When you hire storage space from Healesville HIRE, we provide you with a Storage Agreement document which you will need to sign. This document contains information regarding both your rights as the Client, and our rights as the Owner, Healesville HIRE. The main points of the Terms & Conditions are:

 

• All payments are to be made by you (the Client) in advance

• Goods are stored at your risk – Procuring insurance is advised

• Healesville HIRE is not liable for the loss of any goods stored on its premises

• You must not store any hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, environmental harmful or explosive goods

• 30 days notice must be given for termination of the Storage Agreement

• The Client must notify Healesville HIRE of all changes of address and contact telephone numbers

• If you fail to comply with the conditions of this agreement Healesville HIRE will have certain rights which may include forfeiture of any bond and the right to seize and sell and or dispose of your goods (as per Clause 8)

• Healesville HIRE has the right to refuse access if all fees are not paid promptly

• Healesville HIRE has the right to enter a storage unit in certain circumstances
